BACKGROUND
The flashing yellow arrow and cross (X5) is a great tool to guide road users. By showing a cross, the driver signals that it is inappropriate for the road user to overtake. Instructions can be advantageously used, for example, in tandem plowing on separated roads, repair of 2+1 roads, and work in poor visibility conditions. When the driver assesses that it is possible for the road user to overtake, the yellow arrow is activated. In this way, the sign can contribute to increased safety and reduced risk of accidents.
EXECUTION
The sign is made of stainless steel with LED-type warning lights L8H that meet EN-12352.
The sign is easily mounted in the spreader's existing lifting bracket and connected to the spreader's existing control unit. When tipping, the sign hangs automatically vertically, making the sign equally visible even when filling the spreader.
WIRELESS CONTROL
All functions of the sign are controlled wirelessly via the machine's regular app, where the desired light pattern is selected directly on the screen. The app provides the driver with feedback on the current light pattern by also flashing the selected pattern on the screen. The light sign's extra controls in the app can be easily turned on and off for each activity.
With over 1000 installations, the app is well-proven and has received very good reviews. Download and read more about the app on Google Play.
